At least one Republican U.S. senator, Jeff Flake of Arizona, is pushing a resolution that would put the Senate on the record as supporting the U.S. intelligence community's finding that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.

Is it a little quieter on Twitter these days? Might be because a lot of fake accounts are gone. The AP says it's learned Twitter suspended at least 58 million user accounts in the last quarter of 2017 … and that was just part of its effort to clean things up after the 2016 elections. Although Twitter isn't commenting on that number, it has confirmed a Washington Post report that it whacked another 70 million accounts in May and June of this year.
